For those wearing braces, you’ll be pleased to hear that they will continue to work safely for weeks without our intervention - as long as they are kept CLEAN and not damaged. Retainers must continue to be worn as prescribed by your orthodontist.
If you run out of aligners or elastics, stick with your last set and we will get things back on track when life returns to normal. Until then, we hope that our patients, their friends and families all stay healthy during these worrying times.

Nathan qualified from Glasgow University in 2000 and gained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in 2010. He has worked in private and general practice in Glasgow, England, New Zealand and Gibraltar and currently works in the Scottish Public Dental Service. He is a dentist with a special interest in Paediatric Dentistry and has experience in working with anxious children and children with additional medical, learning and behavioural needs. In his role, he has experience in delivering inhalational sedation services and dental treatment under general anaesthetic. He is an honorary clinical teacher for Glasgow University helping deliver clinical theory and techniques to the next generation of undergraduate dental student.
