In August 2020, Cody became the newest member of the Park Orthodontics team. After leaving school, Cody was keen to gain work experience, the same as receiving training to help her in her recent work role.
Becoming a trainee dental nurse was the ideal fit for her and is something she thoroughly enjoys doing!
Cody completed her Mentor SVQ level 6 course in dental nursing after a year of studying. She is currently waiting to receive her official General Dental Council registration number!
Working alongside all our clinicians helped Cody become the fantastic nurse she has already become. She is keen to continue expanding her dental knowledge and hopes to start working towards a dental radiography qualification next.
There are many things about working in the dental profession that Cody loves; the fact that it is a profession in which there are always opportunities to continually learn and develop her knowledge and skills, the reward that she feels in being part of a patient smile transformation, and the satisfaction she feels from being part of such a friendly and professional team.
Outside work, Cody enjoys visiting the cinema, shopping with friends, and going out for meals; she also loves spending precious time with her beautiful dog, Lolli.
