Trainee Dental Nurse

An opportunity has become available for a full-time trainee Dental Nurse to join our specialist Park Orthodontics practice.

If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, a specific interest in dentistry and an aptitude for learning, growing and developing, we want to hear from you. At Park Orthodontics, you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

What can Park Orthodontics offer you as a Trainee Dental Nurse?

  • Full-time hours – 38.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
  • Training supported by our highly experienced team: Your course will be overseen by an external course provider, average course length of 18 months and fully funded by Park Orthodontics
  • Permanent placement upon successful completion of the course
  • Unrivalled support from experienced clinicians and a wider team

What do we look for in our Trainee Dental Nurses?

  • A good standard of English, Maths and Science (ideally SCQF Level 4) is essential to undertake the course
  • You are a team player and a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care that come naturally to you
  • You will be a crucial player in the team, providing chairside assistance, and ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
  • You will learn to perform high-quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
  • Your drive to constantly deliver and improve the patient journey in line with Park Orthodontics Visions and Values will be the key to your success
  • You will be excited to undergo training as required to develop your skills and abilities
Qualified Dental Nurse

An opportunity has become available for a full-time qualified Dental Nurse to join our specialist Park Orthodontics practice.

We provide clinical excellence in orthodontic dentistry, and our outstanding services and dental expertise are utilised in our skilled approach to the individual needs of every patient.

If you want to work in a great team environment with supportive and highly experienced clinicians and develop your career in Orthodontics, this could be your practice.

What can Park Orthodontics offer you as a Qualified Dental Nurse?

  • Full-time hours – Up to 40 hours per week (typically Monday – Friday but some Saturday mornings)
  • GDC, Indemnity and CPD costs covered
  • Competitive rate plus excellent benefits, including practice bonus scheme, sick pay, and Pension Scheme
  • We understand that life is about balance – so you will receive an additional Special Days package that ensures you don’t miss critical events throughout the year, such as your birthday or moving house
